Urgent Alert Update

Dear OCIF community members,

Assalamu-Alaykum, I pray this message finds you and your families well and healthy. In recent weeks we all have learned about the rapidly increasing COVID cases. The OCIF Board regularly monitors the COVID situation to ensure that we maintain compliance with CDC guidelines as

well as the State mandates. Considering the changing conditions, we are modifying our guidelines for the Masjid to keep our doors open and to ensure that we sustain a relatively healthy and safe environment at the Masjid. Please observe the following guidelines for your next visit to the Masjid:

1. If you have any COVID symptoms, please stay home and Do Not come to the Masjid.

2. If you were in close contact with someone who has COVID or suspected of having COVID, please stay home and Do Not come to the Masjid.

3. Masks are mandatory indoors and outdoors. Please bring your own masks as the Masjid has limited supply.

4. Make Wudu’ at home prior to coming to the Masjid as access to the bathrooms will be limited.

5. Bring your own prayer rug.

6. Please leave immediately after the prayers are finished and Do Not gather outside the Masjid.

These measures that we take are for your safety, so we kindly ask for your patience and cooperation as we navigate together through these rough times. May Allah protect us all and keep us healthy and safe.
